Better Days

I feel like so much has happened in the last 7 days that our road trip to Sheffield feels like it was weeks ago.
Neil built the ramp and front rocks it with style.

Sheffside

One footed Blunt By Fred.
We had a great time skating The House and a big thank you to Neil Grinnel for the sofa crash and micro mini facility. The Sheffside spot was a  perfect end to the last of these summer missions.

Big Ron Dies

Yesterday I stopped by the Ronx when biking between jobs. The local youths had set about taking big ron apart in between robbing pensioners.I knew the build was a little low on concrete and was not exactly easy to skate but anyway I was angry to see it. The memory of making ollies over big ron will stay forever and the mindless youths that didnt like my kind of fun can not ever touch that. In fact they cant seem to do anything to the ledge, kicker or wallie because they were built with so much concrete.Yet they continue to cover the slab in stones and it puts you off going if these fools are watching you. You could not match the old A +E set up with the privacy of the trees and bushes. Heres to better times and watch your back out there.

Stratford 2

Strange Graf at the skatepark

Stratford was a good skate thanks to Dan and Biffa hooking up even in the wet. We hit up the multistory until it dried out and then went by the theatre to skate the ledges. The park has a really good smooth floor and a concrete spine ramp a bit like the old wooden one. I lost the other photos somehow but it is wellworth a trip with some other flatbanks and qauterpipes to hit you should find something you like. These strange graffitti walls are crying out for some concrete to make wallride heaven but you know councils they are not thinking along these lines. Biffa did enjoy the spelling of Lauren is a Hoe and various other staements.
